This is truly a weeknight meal. The soup came together very quickly. I added a bit of time purchasing previously frozen shrimp on the shell and cutting my own corn kernels from some farm stand corn. It was definitely worth it. This soup is a good starter soup for chowders. You can take it several different directions by altering the seasoning and proteins included.
