It’s a pretty cold day here in Southeastern Wisconsin. However, the sun and lack of snow on the ground would give one the impression that it’s much warmer out. After several weeks of indulging my sweet tooth and love of carbohydrates, it’s time to get back into the grind. By no means am I insinuating that I’m a health nut. After all, I’m a foodie. I am merely going to start striving for more healthful choices until my body feels a bit more healthy. Today, we are now out of cookies, candies, and kringle. The whole milk is almost gone and no heavier dairy products (half-and-half, full cream) reside in the house. Time to put more vegetables on the plate and less fat and simple carbs. Oh, how I will miss you…but your absence will make me grow all the fonder.
Last slice of kringle eaten…check.
