Cloudy Sunday = Get Caught Up

I haven’t posted all that much lately.  Today is a catch-up day for me.  I’m listening to all of my backed up Splendid Table and Here on Earth (food Friday) podcasts.  While I’m doing that, I’m loading all of the recipes I’ve pulled out of Gourmet, Bon Appetit, and Cooking Light magazines into my electronic recipe organizer.  Have I ever talked about the organizer?  It’s Living Cookbook.  I absolutely love the application.  It allows me to organize my recipes, plan meals, take inventory of my pantry, track nutrition, etc.  It is an aspiring cooks powerhouse organizer.  My favorite is it’s import process.  I can cut and paste a recipe from online and then define each section of the recipe (ingredients, preparation, serving quantities, author notes, etc).  Saves a ton of time typing in the recipes.  Who has that much time!
