Ale - Beer - Wauwatosa WI. We went out last night with friends to a restaurant called Cafe Hollander. It was a great time (as it always is with Kendra and Jared). The restaurant is a second location added by a local group that has other restaurant names like Cafe Centraal, Trocadero, and Fat Abbey (now closed). I have to say, these restaurants will always come recommended if you’re looking for good food and great beer. Our experience last night was kind of sad, though. One of the draws to this restaurant for me has been this great Belgian beer, Kasteel Bruin-Brune. It’s this really rich dark brown ale. Some chocolate hints and finishes with an almost sweet tone. They no longer have this on the menu [insert record-scratching sound]!
Oh well, good things have to come to an end sometimes. Or do they? I found it online…Kasteel Bruin-Brune
