I received my first two Bon Appetit magazines yesterday. This magazine is replacing my former Gourmet subscription. In all honesty, I had let Gourmet run out and forgot to renew. So, in early December, I opened up a Bon Appetit subscription. Many years ago (10+), I had subscribed to Bon Appetit. However, when I learned of the history of Gourmet and found out that Sara Moulton was associated, I had to make the switch. I was very happy to see the December issue delivered as I longed for Gourmet’s December cookie extravaganza. I can’t say Bon Appetit did as good a job, but they had some great articles and meal ideas.
