After eating a ton of food with not a lot of health benefits, I’m pleased to say we just finished a pretty decent meal. At the store yesterday, I wound up seeing a pile of sweet potatoes that looked great. I bought a few of those and saw some frozen fish in the seafood section that I bought.
Our meal:
Alaskan Pollack – Baked with an olive oil and spice rub.
Mashed Sweet Potatoes – One sweet potato mashed with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and some black pepper.
Green Beans – Leftovers from Christmas day
Finally, some fiber and lower fat foods. I find that I eat very buttery foods high in refined flours and sugars. Not exactly good for your digestive system! Have you gotten back to a normal meal plan after the holidays yet? Or are you waiting until New Years???
