The butter is out on the counter. Here in Wisconsin, it’s going to be a guessing game as to whether or not it’s at “room temperature.” In any event, the cooking baking season begins in this foodie household tomorrow morning.
In addition to cookie baking, I’m going to be cooking for the week. It’s all about comfort foods this week. Tuna casserole…but made with a homemade mushroom and onion bechamel. Cheeseburger mac and cheese…again, homemade bechamel and a chunk of cheddar grated into the pot. It’s getting cooler out now and the threat of snow has arrived. This will be some good, curl up on the couch food this week!
